Once you have used glues or other bonding materials to seal two surfaces, it is usually quite difficult to release that bond. Some acrylic laminates will release more easily than others, however, so pay attention to packaging instructions. There are sealants that are dissolvable with water; so if you are not sure that you want the surfaces chemically bonded, use this type of glue. Sometimes the glue is more easily releasable if you use a thinning material as a preemptive measure. Finally, if the surfaces can be taped as a means of connecting them, try that first. There are manufacturers that produce tape films that are surprisingly strong and will bond surfaces for long periods of time.
