Cable splicing enables people to use the same wire in telecommunication systems to operate more than one device. In order to splice cables, you need a wire cutter and stripper so that you can run the wire to different devices. Many of the wires that are used in telecommunication systems use copper fiber, so you'll need wire cutters and strippers that can cut through the copper. Once you have cut the wire and stripped away the plastic that surrounds it, you can attach new wires that you can run to different devices. This enables people to have their cable hooked up to multiple televisions in their house.
