When a business or a phone company wants to buy pay telephones or a pay phone, they usually buy them from coin-operated telephone wholesalers, coin-operated phone distributors, pay phone wholesalers, or pay phone distributors. Some pay phone wholesalers only sell coin-operated phones while others also sell phones that can be operated with credit cards or phone cards. Some public phone wholesalers and public phone distributors also sell public Internet terminals that are operated by credit cards or by cash. Most pay phone wholesalers also sell pay phone booths. Some pay phone wholesalers sell telephones that can be operated with foreign currency to foreign clients.
