Veterinary hospitals offer many of the same services that human hospitals have except that the services are for animals. If your pet is injured late at night, you might be able to take it to a 24hour emergency room. There are many different types of animal hospitals. If the hospital has an equine doctor, then you can also get care for a horse. Some hospitals have specialists that take care of exotic animals. If you have a bird, cat, or dog, then you might want to consider taking it to a small animal clinic. Finding the vet that knows how to care for you're the type of animal that you have can help give it a longer, healthier life.
