These stores will also have a small selection of decorative items like plants and gravel. However, you will usually find a more extensive selection of aquarium products at pet supply stores. These retail stores will often have the supplies you need for tropical saltwater tanks as well as freshwater aquariums. Sometimes they also offer water testing services with a hydrometer. They can usually use this device to tell if you have healthy amounts of protein and other minerals in the water. You may also see if these pet shops, or even a local aquarium supply store, have your lighting equipment replacement parts.
