In most cases large soft drink companies use regional bottlers to bottle their soft drinks. Some regional bottlers also act as regional distributors for soda and pop. In many cases the major soda companies will contract with a distributor who acts as the sole distributor of certain sodas within a certain geographic area. Most soda distributors can distribute fountain sodas, bottled soda and canned soda. Many soda distributors and bottlers also bottle or sell mixers like club soda, ginger ale and tonic water. Soda pop distributors sell soda to restaurants, convenience stores, grocery stores, supermarkets, and everywhere else soft drinks are sold. Soda distributors also fill pop machines.
