Gates can usually be purchased from a home improvement supplier and can be made of a variety of different materials. Most gates are made of either wood or steel and can come in a wide range of sizes depending on the size of the entranceway. More expensive gates are often mechanized and can be controlled remotely with a key or code system. Many high-end, or “gated” communities will have a gate at their entrance to help keep out unwanted visitors.
