If a person needs legal help and may not be able to afford a regular lawyer they may want to try and contact a legal clinic. A legal clinic may be a non-profit organization or charitable organization that may specialize in giving free or low cost legal advise to people who may not be able to afford it. Legal clinics may be set up to help people in a particular geographic area or people. Other legal clinics may specialize in assisting the indigent or homeless people while others may work with low-income people or people who work for poverty level wages.
