Truck stops and plazas are usually located off major roads, interstates, and highways. Truck stops often sell fuel to truckers and are also a place where many truckers stop to rest. Some truck stops and plazas are chains and other truck stops are individually owned and operated. Truck plazas may have restaurants or diners that sell meals to truckers, often all night long. Because truckers work at all hours of the night, some truck stops and plazas never close. Some truck stops and plazas have facilities for truckers to do laundry, take showers, make phone calls and buy supplies. Truck stops and plazas can be a one stop shopping center for truckers.
