When a group needs to find a speaker or lecturer to speak at an event or a seminar, they sometimes turn to lecture bureaus to find one. Not all experts like to give lectures or speak in public. Lecture bureaus help groups that need an expert speaker find and expert that is willing to speak in public or give a lecture. Seminar bureaus are firms that specialize in organizing seminars and arranging for speakers to appear at seminars. Some seminar bureaus specialize in putting together a certain kind of seminar, such as a legal seminar bureau. Some lecture bureaus have all kinds of speakers on their rosters and can facilitate for all kinds of events but other lecture bureaus may specialize in working with one kind of expert or one kind of lecturer such as a bureau that mostly works with literature experts.
