Mosques are Islamic houses of worship and are Muslim houses of worship. Mosques not only service as houses of worship, they are also community centers for many Muslim communities. Some mosques are Shi'a, Shiite, Shi'ite Shiah, or Shi'ah mosques. Other mosques are mosques where Sunni Muslims go to worship. Some mosques serve as houses of worship for a Muslim community that primarily consists of a single ethnicity, such as a Pakistani Mosque. Other mosques are houses of worship for multiethnic Muslim communities. Most mosques have clerics or imams that preach at them. Some mosques are more conservative than most while others are more liberal than most.
