Wholesale automobile auctions are a kind of automobile auction in which entire lots of cars are sold to the highest bidder or in which only car dealers are allowed to bid on the cars being sold. Car dealers and truck dealers often go to wholesaler automobile auctions in order to buy cars that they later sell at their dealerships. Often companies and agencies that have fleets of cars sell their used fleets through wholesale automobile auctions. Some auctioneering businesses specialize in putting on wholesale auto auctions while others occasionally do wholesaler auto auctions. At some wholesale auto auctions many cars are sold as part of one lot. At other wholesale auto auctions each car is auctioned off individually.
