Homes, businesses, schools and other organizations can often benefit from having a private system paging and signaling service. These private paging and signaling systems can sometimes have the capability of monitoring one or more hardwired systems. When used in a school situation, students can be notified to a fire alarm, school bells and tornado sirens as well as preset paging reminders. Systems may consists of a base transmitter and personal pager receivers with up to a standard 2-mile range. The base transmitter may be able to send up to 10 different message codes to a maximum of 100 receivers. A combination of a vibration or auditory signal and a numeric code on the LED display can alerts the user.
