The advancement of computer technology means that there is a constant need for computer training so that the work force can stay current. Some companies that are experiencing rapid growth or are dependent on computers to function will have an internal computer training department. Other companies will send its employees off-site for computer training. A middle ground for companies is to have training centers on-site to support computer training consultants who come in to train on specific skills. Computer training specialists may focus on specific computer applications. Upon completion of computer training, most students earn a certificate in the area of computer training that they have successfully completed.
