Six years ago I began my program of education in the young and growing area of Anti-Aging Medicine. I could see the synergy between Preventive Medicine and Anti-Aging Medicine yielding healthy, long living, individuals.

I set my sites on becoming one of the first credentialed, participants in this new area of medical science. In June 1999, I became a Diplomate of the American Board of Anti Aging Medicine.

Anti-Aging Medicine (also called Longevity Medicine) is a new form of preventive medicine that attempts to detect diminshing levels of hormones before they lead to an illness state.

We have seen that the prompt replacement of low hormones can lead to an increase in mental functioning, mental and physical energy, reduction in body fat with an increase in lean body mass, improved heart, kidneys, liver, and spleen, and an overall enhancement to the quality of life.
