The truth is they HAVE to inspect every job just to be sure they were really done let alone done close to right! I wonder how they check to see if new plywood decking was installed with the proper number of fasteners & spacers AFTER the roof is installed? There are an almost infinite number of ways to take short cuts that save time when installing a roof. Sub contract crews are paid a set amount of money based on the square footage of the job. The quicker they get done the more they make per hour. Their only incentive is to go fast!. That is why we actually hire and train our own English speaking employees to form our own crews. Each crew is supervised by a foreman who is on each job from start to finish. Our foremen constantly oversee every detail. In our 42 plus years in business we have learned sub contract crews provide SUB PAR work! That is why we use our own employees. All the others can talk quality all they want. The truth is they use sub crews because it saves them money on taxes and insurance, NOT because they get better quality!! If you want your roof installed so that it will last as long as it is supposed to, then you should want us to install it for you.
