"Empower Me" is a Multisensory Learning Academy that is dedicated to empowering children with learning differences. Education is a Journey and we construct the map to how your child learns best. A multisensory learning approach is used to engage each child`s five senses while learning various concepts. This helps to ensure that the educational information is retained in the long run. Our mission is to work 1:1 as well as in small groups to not only improve academic skills, but to also increase self esteem, foster team work, learn strategies to overcome disabilities, and instill a love of learning. Each year only 4-6 students are enrolled in the program to be sure that each student is given these opportunities. "Empower Me" differs significantly from the regular school in many different aspects. The most important being individualized instruction, but also the duration of the instruction. A regular school generally offers 1-2 hours/day of specialized (small group) instruction. At our school your child is receiving a solid 5-6 hours of instruction that is specifically tailored to his/her needs each day.
