Courses are designed for commercial and non-commercial entities and are conducted by Licensed and Certified Instructors. Products & Services: First Aid, CPR (8 hours) Learn to recognize signs and symptoms of heart attack. Course includes rescue breathing, obstructed airway skills, and first aid skills for bleeding, shock, heart attacks, burns, fractures, and other medical emergencies. Course fee $50.00 per student (12 student maximum) AED-Automatic External Defribrillation (4 hours) Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is one of the leading causes of death in North America killing 450,000 people each year in the U.S. alone. It can strike anyone: your staff or visitors without warning. Survival from sudden cardiac arrest depends on a strong Chain of Survival. This includes early access of the EMS system, early CPR, early defibrillation and early advanced life support. Early defibrillation has been called the critical link in the Chain of Survival, since the time from collapse to defribrillation is the key indicator of survival from sudden cardiac arrest. Course fee $35.00 per student (10 student maximum) Blood Born Pathogens (4 hours) Learn what is and what is not considered scientifically blood born pathogens. Students learn ways to minimize exposure and immunize. Course fee $500.00 (30 student maximum) Hazardous Materials, First Responder Awareness (8 hours) Haz Mat Responders need safe, competent hazardous materials emergency response actions based on capabilities and resources provided on scene to protect life, environment and property. For employee likely to witness Haz Mat Releases and whose function is to report and take no further action. Course fee $1000.00 (30 student maximum) Hazardous Materials, First Responder Operations (16 hours) Learn process of decontamination as an emergency response function to a hazardous materials release. Learn necessary skills needed to fill critical roles in a response team, freeing the highly trained specialized personnel to operate as a member of an entry team. For employee likely to witness Haz Mat Release and whose function is to take defensive action. Course fee $1900.00 (30 student maximum) Fire Safety Training for Emergencies (3 hours) Participants learn basic fire safety, including, but not limited to emergency evacuation plan, emergency equipment location, fire extinguisher operations, and notification of appropriate personnel. Course fee $500.00 (25 student maximum) Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus Training (4 hours) This course familiarizes participants with all aspects of using and operating S.C.B.A.’s contained in the facility where they are employed (or volunteer). Course fee $600.00 (12 student maximum) Jail Operations & Fire Protection (16 – 32 hours) Facility safety techniques are discussed, including jail procedure in fire and evacuation situations. Participates will learn S.C.B.A. donning, fire extinguisher use and fire exit use during emergency. Course fee $150.00 per hour Commercial Operations – Fire Safety (4 – 6 hours) Learn basic skills to avoid fire situations. Develop exit routes, train staff or learn techniques to train staff supervisors during emergency fire situations, learn basic emergency steps and problem solving techniques. The precaution is to train staff before an emergency occurs. Course fee $150 per hour (25 student maximum) Fire Safety (4 - 6 hours) Participants learn basic techniques for avoiding fire situations. Course emphasizes skills necessary to take immediate action, use necessary equipment and notify appropriate personnel. Course fee $150 per hour Basic Water Awareness (4 hours) Designed for Agencies with employees who are/may be required to work on or near water, including swift water, during the course of their duties. Topics include self-rescue, water characteristics and hazards, use of protective equipment (including PFDs and Rope Bags), and employee role in water emergency situation. Course fee $2000.00 (30 student maximum). Class requires 1 instructor and 3 assistant instructors.
