Blacksmiths are craftsmen that work with metals such as iron and steel to make forms that can be useful, decorative, or both. Blacksmiths use fire to shape their metals into shapes so that they can be used to create things like furniture, weapons, religious artifacts, cooking utensils and sculpture. These items are created by heating metals and then bending and punching them into shapes with a hammer. Many blacksmiths are extremely sophisticated in making their shapes. If you have a metal piece that is broken, some blacksmiths are skilled enough that they can recreate the piece, making it possible for you to continue using your item.
