Gemstones are often sold at gem shops and jewelry stores. Jewelry stores tend to sell precious stones inlaid into jewelry. Gem shops, where people go to buy gemstones, often sell polished gemstones, jewelry with inlaid gemstones and gemstone figurines, statues, ornaments and decorations. Many gem shops mostly sell semi-precious gemstones and items made of semi-precious gemstones or that feature semi-precious gemstones.
