In our mobile society, we often need to get from one place to another. The form of personal transportation that we choose can be dependent on many factors. While for most of our personal trips we'll transport ourselves, such as by driving our own vehicle, there are many cases in which we must rely on some other form of personal transportation. This can be by public transportation or rapid transit, or by hiring a personal transportation service such as a taxi cab, shuttle or van service, or limousine. In cases where there are special needs, such as personal transportation for the handicapped, children or the elderly, services exist that can provide safe and secure transportation, as well as the appropriate care.
