When people buy a home they usually take out a home loan or a mortgage loan to get one. Lenders and banks that lend people mortgage loans and home loans employ mortgage loan processors who specialize in processing mortgages and in setting the terms of the mortgage. Mortgage loan processors are usually employees of lending institutions, such as credit unions, and of banks. When people want to get a mortgage loan or take out a second mortgage loan, they talk to a mortgage loan processor at a bank. Some lending institutions specialize in home loans and mortgage loans. Mortgage loan processors work at mortgage lenders and home lenders.
