Many health clubs have physical trainers available who can help people recovering from a disease or surgery develop a proper work out for their condition. People who go to health clubs as part of their recovery often find that others at the health clubs inspire them to keep up their training. Some health clubs recognize those who have reached certain goals with rewards, such as tee-shirts and water bottles. Most physical trainers at health clubs will follow instructions prescribed by a client's doctor, such as limits on heart rate while the client works out.
