Oil might even provide lubrication and essential for plastics, paint, fertilizers and pharmaceuticals. Most large oil companies are global and have a worldwide network of production and distribution. Oil companies might refine oil and reserve it for future needs. Oil provides just about all the energy for transportation including cars, trucks, buses, airplanes and trains.
