Taxis are often the quickest and easiest mode of transportation to get around a city or to a city from a local airport. Dispatchers can keep taxicab drivers informed of road conditions, hazards or accidents that could impede their drive. In large cities, taxis can be found on nearly every street and easily hailed by passengers wanting them to stop for them.
