Substances that may be not pure for human consumption are removed during the treatment of the water. The contaminants in the water may be dangerous to humans; however, some of the contaminants that may be removed to improve the water's smell, taste and appearance. Water treatment may be a system to treat the water to make it more acceptable by arbitration. System may involve both the removal of impurities and the use of chemicals to counter the effects of chemicals or organisms that cannot be completely removed.
