Water is vital to everyday life. Water works may be system that gets the water to people in a more convenient way. Equipment and supplies might be needed to get the water to people effectively. Water supply systems get water from a diverse source of locations includes aquifers, lake, rivers, wells, desalinated seawater and other sources. Water works might use all sorts of equipment and supplies to make sure the water gets to were it belongs. The intake from these sources might be through a large cage-like box designed to screen out large particle matter before it enters the system. Once the water is used, it may have to go somewhere, which might be the sewer system.
