There are several different kinds of fiber out there and thus there are several different kinds of fiber manufacturers out there that make a wide assortment of products out of the different kinds of fibers they make. Some fiber manufacturers make textiles such as spandex, polyester, rayon and nylon. Makers of such artificial textiles also make clothing and other products out of polyester, nylon, rayon and spandex. These companies also make other kinds of artificial textiles. Some fiber manufacturers are carbon fiber manufacturers. Makers of carbon fiber use carbon fiber to make light-weight machinery. Carbon fiber is often substituted for steel in order to make things weigh less. Other fiber manufacturers manufacture fiber glass and fiber glass products. Some companies just make fiber glass. Other companies make fiber glass insulation while other fiber glass companies make fiber glass sporting goods, fiber glass boats or fiber glass machinery.
