Landscape gardeners are often hired to do routine yard work, such as mowing, weeding and trimming lawns, bushes and gardens. Some landscape gardeners can be hired to do regularly scheduled service on lawns and gardens at an agreed upon set price; such as weekly weeding of a garden. Landscape gardeners that have customers that use them for regularly scheduled services will often provide occasional extra services to the customer, such as planting flats of plants on a hillside or in a garden, for an additional fee. Some landscape gardeners will do related jobs, such as installing a sprinkler system or a retaining wall.
