When people want to buy a quilt for their beds, they often go to specialty quilt retailers to get one. When quilters need to buy the supplies required to make a quilt, they often head to quilting supply stores to get what they need. Often stores that sell quilts will also sell quilting supplies but this is not always the case. Most quilt stores sell an assortment of kind-sized quilts, queen-sized quilts, full-sized quilts, twin-sized quilts and smaller quilts for babies. Some quilt retailers sell quilts only made by one quilter while others sell quilts made by many. Most quilt supply stores sell an assortment of quilting fabrics, quilt patterns, quilting needles, quilting threads and books on quilting.
