Many credit card companies now offer instant approval through online applications and credit checks. You can usually find many offers for credit cards from the major credit card companies: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Most of them have similar opportunities for opening up a new line of credit, especially for young adults or college students who do not have a long credit history, or have no credit at all. Upon approval, it is wise to read all of the information surrounding your new credit card. For example, does the company offer zero interest balance transfers when you sign up with them? Will they increase your credit limit when you establish a good payment history? Never agree to a card without finding out all of the necessary information.
