Go carts are small, low-riding cars that people race around tracks or drive on private property. Go carts are not street legal motorized vehicles. People often buy go carts from go cart stores. Go cart retailers specialize in go cart sales and may sell go carts with 150 cc engines; go carts with 250 cc engines; and go carts with 800 cc engines. Many go cart retailers also sell mini-bikes, motor scooters, dune buggies and ATVs. Go cart tracks are special tracks set up for go cart racing and go cart driving. Go cart tracks often rent go carts to people. People, especially older children, sometimes have birthday parties or celebrate other occasions at go cart track. “Go cart” is sometimes spelled “go kart.”
