Few treats are more popular than ice cream and when people get the hankering for ice cream, they often head out to ice cream retailers, ice cream shops and ice cream parlors. Most ice cream parlors sell many flavors of ice cream. Most ice cream parlors sell ice cream scoops, ice cream cones, milk shakes, malts, banana splits and other ice cream desserts. Some ice cream parlors sell ice cream cakes while others specialize in selling soft-serve ice cream. Some frozen dessert retailers and frozen dessert shops are frozen yogurt shops or frozen yogurt parlors that sell several flavors of frozen yogurt. Some frozen dessert shops are gelato shops or gelato parlors that sell many flavors of gelato. Some ice cream parlors and frozen dessert shops sell a number of flavors of sherbet and sorbet and there are some frozen dessert places that specialize in selling sorbet, sherbet or frozen fruit desserts.
