If you want to go to an up scale gourmet restaurant, then ask them how many stars they have. High end, authentic restaurants are often the best eateries around, but they can be expensive and seating reservations can be hard to get at 5 star restaurants. Ask the five star restaurants if they have any open tables for reservation. If you cannot reserve searing, then you might want to ask if they have take our or delivery options. Some authentic Italian restaurants let people get their orders from take out, but you will need to ask first to be sure. Dinning at an authentic Italian restaurant means more than just eating great foods like specialty Sicilian pizzas, spaghettis, and pasta. It almost means that you can often get great wines while you dine. Ask the restaurant if they have a web site where you can look at their wine list, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. If they have a menu online, then you can look at the different pasta, pizza, and seafood plates that you might like before you make a reservation. If you really like a certain dish that you get at the pizzeria or café, then you might want to ask them if there is a fine food shop near by where you can get the ethnic cuisine ingredients.
