Mormon missionaries might be one of the most active practitioners of missionary work. Usually young men between ages 19 and 26 might be strongly encouraged to go on a two-year mission, full-time proselyting. Elderly, retired couples, might serve a mission as well for 3 to 36 months. Mission stations integrate themselves into local communities for perhaps help those in need. Many missions may be sponsored by a church such as Christian and Mormons. Each church might plan their missions differently. Mission stations might be a location of missionary work. Christian missions might be based on the idea “to form a viable indigenous church-planting movement.” Missions might be motivated by enhancing God's reputation. The mission hopefully becomes viable meaning self-governing, self-supporting and self-propagating.
