You should also ask if they have any professional affiliations with venues, music clubs, and other booking agents. If you are hiring a musical group for you function, then you should ask to hear an audio or video recording of the group. Some talent companies will put audio and video online so that it is easy for clients to browse the different talents that they have. When planning music and live entertainment for your function, first consider what type of music would be appropriate. Live bands are great for formal weddings and bar mitzvahs, for instance.
