Call an agency and ask about booking the live entertainment that you want for you function. Ask them how long they have been in business. Those with several years of experience will often have the connections to give you more entertainment options and services. You should also ask if they have any professional affiliations with venues, music clubs, and other booking agents. If you are hiring a musical group for you function, then you should ask to hear an audio or video recording of the group. Some talent companies will put audio and video online so that it is easy for clients to browse the different talents that they have. Ask the companies if they have party organizers who can help you plan the function.
