When people want to buy pies, they head to bakeries that specialize in baking pies or they go to pie makers that only make pies. Some pie makers are well known for making a certain kind of pie, such as a pecan pie maker or an apple pie maker. Other pie bakeries make all kinds of pies including fruit pies, such as cherry pie and blueberry pie, and cream pies, such as Boston cream pie and banana cream pie. Some restaurants are well known for their pies and always have many pies on the menu. Some of these restaurants also sell whole pies that people can take home to devour on their own time.
