When people want to contact political candidates, they will often contact them through the candidates' campaign offices. Incumbent candidates cannot run reelection bids out of their official offices, so they must have campaign offices and campaign headquarters. Political challengers also run their campaigns out of campaign headquarters and campaign offices. Many political organizations, political activist organizations and political action committees (PACs) also have their own offices and when people want to contact these kinds of groups, their offices are usually the best way to do it. Political parties also have offices and headquarters. State political parties have central offices and may have branch offices as well. Local branches of political parties may also have their own offices.
