Teachers, students and parents will often choose to purchase school supplies in order to provide themselves or their children with the necessary supplies for completing and engaging in school work. Some of the most common school supplies include pens, pencils, binders, calculators, rulers, staplers and books. School supplies can usually be purchased through a number of different locations, such as school and office supply stores and teacher supply resources. Stores will usually sell large amounts of school supplies during the fall when children are returning to school for another year. Although students will usually purchase their own school supplies, many teachers will also purchase school supplies for the general use of their class.
