A swimming pool is an artificially enclosed body of water intended for recreational or competitive swimming, diving, or for other bathing activities such as wading, water exercise, floating around on inner tubes, or merely cooling off on hot days. It usually contains the chemical Chlorine to control bacteria. Many homeowners enjoy having their own private pool in their backyard. After years of use and enjoyment, sometimes swimming pools will need remodeling and restoration. This can be necessary due to disrepair or safety issues, or it can be done more for aesthetic purposes, to upgrade and enhance the pool area and the landscape surrounding it.
