Trailer providers will often have a certain time a person needs to make a delivery, which is why those that are traveling on the road are in a rush when they're stopping to take a break. Stores and gas stations that are known to have good service in order to let people come in and leave quickly are good to know for when out on the road. When truckers need a place to stop, they often go to a truck stop plaza located off the major road or highway on which they are traveling. At a truck stop a trucker can usually purchase fuel and supplies for their truck, including oil. If a driver needs to rest then a truck stop plaza is often where they'll stay. Inside the truck stop a trucker can usually buy a hot meal, often 24 hours a day. Truckers can also find convenience food at many truck stops and plazas. ATM's and telephones are other conveniences often found at truck stop plazas. Truck stops can be part of a chain or else be independently owned.
