There are many veterans' and military organizations in the Untied States that service the needs of those that served in the armed forces. Veterans' and military organizations often help veterans deal with the Untied States Department of Veterans Affairs to obtain benefits. Veterans' organizations also often lobby Congress and local political bodies in the name of veterans' interests. Veterans' and military organizations often have halls where members get together.
