How to choose or find zoos
Zoos are theme parks where animals of all kinds are on display, often in their natural habitats. Many zoos are open during the winter holiday season, to showcase animals, lights, and seasonal activities. Whether you love the aviary or want to visit some animal babies, zoos are the place for you. They may also feature beautiful gardens, ponds, rides, and dining amenities. Stay the whole day with your kids, or buy a half-day family ticket. Kids are usually admitted at a lower price than adult visitors, so be sure to inquire about this. Sometimes, rides and safaris are offered at an additional price.
