Organic farmers may also use biomediation to clean the soil and repair damaged plants. Bioremediation is the use of microorganisms to clean and repair an environment that has been exposed to contaminants. Regulators in the agricultural industry protect consumers by closely monitoring the use of both biological and chemical adjutants. Adjutants are added soil-enhancers. These inspectors may check for everything from sanitary sewage and drainage conditions, to proper ventilation and odor control, to make sure that agricultural products intended for consumption meet the federal standards.

Conventional treatments that have been around for many years can still work very well in lawn, gardens, and farms. Different type of plants will need different products in order for them to grow. When buying agricultural products, you can ask an associate of the store what they believe is a good fit for your personal needs. Some growth regulators will work better on certain plants, while fertilizers and pesticides will have certain types of plants that they work better with. If you haven't done enough research you may find that what you're putting on your plants is doing more harm than good.
