If passengers need to ask a question that regards your specific flight or your ticket, then they should probably try to contact their airlines directly rather than contacting the airport. While the airport might be able to connect you with someone from the airlines, this will just add another step to a process that can already take quite a while. Airports that offer general information, though, can really provide a way of soaring through the planning phase of your vacation or business trip.
