When working with a dealer to find the right car alarm system and all the cool accessories that come with it, consider an alarm that disables the ignition and causes the auto lights to flash in addition to the audio siren going off. Also check into these features.

  • Auto tracking system – In the event that your car is stolen, a tracking system will use a GPS to locate your vehicle. Your car may have been towed or stolen.
  • Wireless anti theft device – You install this type of car alarm by connecting it directly to the battery, making it wireless, which will protect you from savvy thieves.
  • Zone bypass – You want security, and not to annoy your neighbors. This system feature will disable the audio alarm from continuously going off in the event of a faulty, oversensitive sensor.

Audio automobile alarms can prevent not only theft but vandalism as well. These electronic anti theft devices are helpful in sounding a siren to scare off these intruders and call attention to the situation until the owner, or even security personnel or police officers, can get to the scene.
