From taking a lake tour to hitting the high seas for your own private cruise, boat charter and rental can make a great vacation or party. By renting a yacht, you can celebrate an offshore wedding or throw an event that clients will never forget. Here are some common charter boat rental terms.

  • Bareboating – In the charter boat trade, bareboating is the practice of renting a vessel that does not come with a hired crew. This may be attractive if, for example, you wish to have dinner onshore in the area you are touring instead of paying for meals as part of the charter fee.
  • Boat Rental – The process of renting vessels such as water canoes, day sailors and jet skis, usually by the day.
