Book Dealers & Bookstores
If you are looking to buy a new book, you should try a bookstore. There are both new and used stores that have a wide variety of books to choose from. If you are looking for bestsellers and new releases, a regular retailer will have what you need. You can shop for paperback and hardcover versions so you can suit your preferences. Most large stores have every genre, including text and children’s books. They will even have specialty fiction, such as comics and manga. If you collect rare literature, you might want to visit a dealer instead. You can find used copies of antique and out of print books. Many will even let you exchange one novel for another. These purchases can often be very expensive, so trading in can help cut some of the costs. But dealers will have the books you can’t find anywhere else, so it’s worth the price. If you just want to order cheap books, try checking online. Shopping at online retailers means a wider selection, and often the selection is at lower prices than brick and mortar places. Of course, you lose the atmosphere that comes with a hip book store, and it may be harder to browse through the pages to see if you like what you find. No matter what you are looking for, there will be a book store that can suit your needs. There is nothing quite like finishing a good book, so find a bookstore and pick out your next great read.

If you love to read, you can spend your weekends checking out new and used bookstores. Check your local paper or the internet to look for bookstores in your area. Many of these smaller bookstores have used books at cheap prices as well and antiques and rare titles. Bestsellers and other new books can be found at large retail book dealers. You can search online to find new book dealers located near your home. These stores have large collections of paperbacks and hardcover releases. There will be sections for every kind of novel that you could want, including general fiction, children's stories, new releases for teens and literature required for school reading lists. Novels from specialized genres, such as romance, mystery and science fiction, are also plentiful. If you do not enjoy shopping at retail stores and shops, you can always order books online. You can buy print comic books and novels and have them shipped to your home. If you have a friend who also reads a lot, the two of you can exchange titles when you are finished to save money. Electronic reading devices are also making it easier to purchase books as you can download the entire text of a book from the web to your electronic reading device. You will find everything from bestsellers to self-published books available in this digital format. One benefit of electronically downloadable text, is that they cost a lot less than their paperback counter parts. So although purchasing the device upfront is an investment, owning an electronic reading device can save you money in the long run.
