Important Terms about Carpet Installation & Sales

Sooner or later, new carpet will have to be installed at your home due to wear and tear.   • Floor mat - A broad term for a type of durable floor covering, often used to collect dirt from footwear or prevent pedestrian accidents.
  • Runner rugs - A type of rug placed in doorways, stairways, or other high-traffic spots. They are intended to protect the carpet or floor underneath from excessive wear.
  • Transition strip - Floor covering intended to join two spaces that have different types of carpeting or tiles.
